Accreditation for ECU’s Masters in Nutrition and Dietetics

Tuesday, 14 June 2011

ECU's Master of Nutrition and Dietetics can open the door to an exciting and in-demand career. It is a comprehensive two-year course that will put you on the road to a rewarding career in clinical patient care, community nutrition, foodservice, sports dietetics and more.

Are you thinking about postgraduate study next semester?

Now is the perfect time to enrol - this course only has mid-year entry, and has recently received provisional accreditation from the Dietitians Association of Australia (DAA). This means that graduates are eligible for full membership of the DAA and can apply for Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD) status. The APD status allows graduating dietitians to register as health providers for Medicare and private health insurance purposes, giving ECU graduates the ability to follow a successful career path in private practice.

So if you have a degree in nutrition, science or health, apply now to start in July 2011. Pathway units in biochemistry and physiology are also available.

For further information visit the ECU website, contact 134 ECU (134 328) or email computinghealthandscience@ecu.edu.au.
