Doctor of Information Technology student, Ms Khumphicha Tantisantisom, from the eAgriculture research group, has been working with 2 villages in the Phrae province on Northern Thailand to improve the delivery of agricultural information to these farmers. The information is delivered via mobile phones and includes topics on organic farming and agricultural commodity prices. Research findings suggest that the farmer believe that the delivery of information will help to improve their farm practices. Further research activities are planned for the next growing season in late 2010.
