Competitions and prizes
The Dean’s List recognises the top 5 percent of graduating coursework students each year, based on their overall course average. It also includes research students graduating with first class honours or with outstanding performance in their thesis. The List comprises students from across all disciplines in the Faculty categorised into undergraduate (coursework), postgraduate (coursework) and research.
Faculty Research Medal
A Faculty Research Medal is the Faculty's most prestigious research prize, awarded to the highest achieving student graduating from a higher degree by research from within the Faculty of Regional Professional Studies, being judged on the quality of the research thesis submitted for the award.
Awarded for outstanding scholarship in a programme offered by the Faculty of Regional Professional Studies.
Each year the Faculty of Regional Professional Studies recognises the outstanding achievements of our students through Student Prizes. Students who have won a prize are notified by the Faculty of Regional Professional Studies by the end of February each year.
