On Monday, 29 October 2012, students, staff and members of the public enjoyed a celebration of creativity at ECU South West Campus, Bunbury.
Leslie Thiele and Annie Horner won the inaugural Edith Cowan University South West Undergraduate writing competition in the fiction and creative non-fiction sections respectively. Students Jaclyn Crombie, Rachelle Rechichi, Darren Tynan and Jane Durkin were highly commended in the competition.

Dr Robyn Mundy launched a joint creative project of students from the Mount Lawley and South West Campuses.
The 2012 Community Writing Anthology Ant Hill was coordinated by Dr Fion Murphy at Mount Lawley and Dr Vahri McKenzie at South West.
Undergraduate contributors from ECU South West Campus wrote and published a collection of stories, essays and poetry on the theme of Community.
In addition a host of visual artworks by graduating visual arts students from the South West Campus will be exhibited at the Bunbury Regional Art Gallery after being exhibited on campus. Students Marcus Eastman, Gina Crowley, Danielle McLachlan and Sarah Mills’ artworks were all exhibited on campus as part of the graduating class.
