The selections are based on levels of engagement and recommendations from staff. A student engagement record is an ideal addition to your academic transcript when applying for a job or further study in the future.

Entries open in September and the winners receive generous prizes at a presentation ceremony held suring the last week of Semester 2.
This is a successful annual art auction inspired by the 9x5 Impression Exhibition of 1889. This event involves the distribution of 9x5” boards – the size of cigar lids artists painted on in the traditional exhibition – to students, staff and regional artists. Once the artists have created something on or with their 9x5” boards, academic arts staff, the Activities Office and student volunteers manage an auction on the South West campus. Works are sold to the highest bidders with help from a professional and entertaining auctioneer. Bidders come from all around the region, excited to participate in the 9x5” Art Auction. Money profited at the auction is donated to charity.
