Book Lists

Easy to use book lists are available on-line via SIMO

.

When Purchasing Texts

If a text is listed on the book list as "prescribed", then you need to buy it for your course. If a text is listed as "optional" you do not need to buy it but you will find it useful in your studies.

We recommend that before purchasing your textbooks you wait until you attend your first lecture. Sometimes changes to texts are made at the last minute and sometimes when more than one book is listed on the book list you may find that your lecturer has a preference for one of the titles only so you will be wasting your money if you buy them all.

Many of your lecturers will require you to buy course notes and / or what we term "Readers". A Reader contains copyright material and for this reason they are sold on a firm sale basis. This means they cannot be returned under any circumstances, so please choose carefully. The Bookshop staff will also ask to see your student identification card when you purchase Readers.
