Emergency ManagementThe University has established procedures in the event of an emergency and the Facilities Management Office manages the implementation of these practices and procedures. Copies of multicoloured emergency procedures are displayed throughout buildings along with standard fire orders and evacuation site maps. Please take some time to find out where one is located in your building. Full and partial evacuations are conducted annually so that the University complies with current legislation and to ensure that all members of staff are familiar with the procedures in the event of a real emergency. All buildings have fully trained wardens who will respond in the event of an emergency. The Manager Campus Facilities of each campus is the designated Chief Warden.
