The Joondalup and Mount Lawley ECU Sports Centre Creche prides itself on two fantastic huge facilities. The facilities boast fantastic floor space and an outside shaded play area with sand pit that your kids will love. We employ caring and trained staff who are committed to adhering to rigid health and hygiene standards. Children aged 2 months to 7 years are welcome.

In order to provide a safe, secure and happy environment for your child, we ask you to follow the guidelines below:

Child Registration

Mt Lawley -Bookings are essential, please call 9370 6978 to secure your child’s place. then on arrival at ECU Sports please purchase your creche receipt at reception and write your child's name on it. On entering the creche, please complete a medical form and fill out the registration book.
Joondalup - On arrival at ECU Sports please purchase your creche receipt at reception and write your child's name on it. On entering the creche, please complete a medical form and fill out the registration book.

Labeling
Please label your child, their bag, dummy, bottles, pram and any other belongings.

Child Collection
Please let a staff member know if someone else is to pick up your child.

Change of Clothing
Please send along any necessary toilet provisions e.g. nappies and change of clothing for emergencies. Hats are required during the summer months.

Food and Drink
Food and drink may be brought in a bag and given to the child as needed. Please label all items. Please note we are NOT a nut free facility.

Joondalup - Monday to Friday 8.45am - 11:30am
Mt Lawley - Monday to Friday 8.30am - 11:00am (Bookings required - 48 hours notice)
Closed on some public holidays.

Cost
$2.50 per child per hour.
For frequent users a Creche membership is available (Joondalup only) on request to help save you $$.

For ECU Students and Staff

Creche for students and staff studying or working on the Joondalup or Mt Lawley campus. The ECU Sports centre creche is available for kids aged 2 months to 7 years old. During Semester (including 1 week of o-week and of course exams): To guarantee care for your child: $5.00 per child per hour from 8.20am to 11.30am. 48 hour booking notice required, minimum 1 hour booking, followed by 30min increments. $5.00 per child per hour from 11.30am to 4.00pm. 48 hour booking notice required, minimum 2 hour booking, followed by 30min increments. Last booking start time is 2pm. Late pickup fees apply and include; 5 to 10 minutes late = $5, thereafter an extra $5 is payable for every 5 minutes late. Drop In Service: Drop in service available based on availability and confirmation with Crèche staff on shift for that day. There is no guarantee we will have care available for this service. Outside of semester: The online creche booking service does not operate. Please book in your child by emailing: ecusports@ecu.edu.au Joondalup - Normal crèche hours 8.30am to 11.30am (no bookings) Mt Lawley – Normal crèche hours 8.30am to 11.30am (bookings required) Some conditions do apply. Important: during the semester a minimum of two working days notice is required for bookings as we are required to provide our staff this much notice before rostering them on to look after your child/ren. Please use the online booking process below. Phone bookings are not accepted.
