Want to join 150 other ECU students in Melbourne for a week of sports & parties? Then get yourself into an Intervarsity (IV) Sports team during semester 1 and start your journey to the ultimate uni experience – Australian Uni Games 08!
Play not only for gold medals, but for bragging rights over the other 4 WA universitiesevery Friday during semester 1 in over 30 different sports (study exemptions for tournament dates available).
As ECU can only have one team per sport, you MUST REGISTER INTEREST EARLY to ensure you are informed of any trainings and/or trials that will be conducted prior to the tournament dates.
What is it?: ECU students competiting in a wide range of sports competitions against 4 other WA Univeristies (Curtain, UWA, Murdoch & Notra Dame).
Why play?: To qualify for the university games you must play in the intervarsity Sports compeition. So why not enhance your university experience by playing sport; as you play not only for gold medals, but for bragging rights over the other 4 WA universities.
When?: Most Friday afternoons.
Cost?: FREE to all ECU students.
How do I start? If you are an ECU student and want to represent ECU in Melbourne Sept/Oct 08, then get yourself into an Intervarsity sports team!
The competition is of a high standard so you may need to attend trials and/or training for your selected sport(s).
