Our memberships offer various options and with the assistance of our highly qualified fitness staff, we can tailor a membership package and training program to suit your needs.

Membership options include:

• Standard access to two gym locations - Joondalup and Mt Lawley
• Price for Life - Direct Debit  (Gym & Group Fitness)
• Flexi Plan - Direct Debit (Gym & Group Fitness)
• ECU Student, Staff, Elite Athlete and Alumni memberships
• Fly-in/fly-out (FIFO) memberships
• No joining fee on Price for Life and 3, 6 and 12 month memberships
• Memberships include free fitness appraisals, fitness tests and individualised programs

Request an appointment by selecting the centre nearest you and a member of our team will contact you promptly to confirm your appointment. Please allow for a minimum of 48 hours notice. Click here to request an appointment.

Upon joining ECU Sport and Fitness Centre you will be taken on a personalised guided tour. Our aim is to inform you of the quality facilities and services we offer so you can be confident that you've made the right choice.

For the first phase of your membership we will book you in for a free appraisal, fitness test and program with a qualified team member who will ensure you are shown how to use all the equipment safely. To keep you on track and motivated we recommend you have a FREE assessment every 8 to12 weeks as part of your membership.

If you are inexperienced in gym training or new to exercise, we offer you as many follow up assessments as needed with one of our fitness instructors for FREE.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I suspend my membership if I have an injury or go on holidays?
If you have a medical reason and are unable to attend the gym your membership can be suspended online free of charge. If you are going on holidays you can also suspend your membership online for a small fee payable when you apply.

How do I cancel my direct debit (bank or credit card) membership?
Email our membership team at ecusports@ecu.edu.au

Can I claim a discount as an ECU Alumni member?
You automatically become an alumni member if you have completed a course at ECU. Our membership team will verify this when you enquire about our discounted membership at ecusports@ecu.edu.au. or call 6304 5778.

Can ECU staff Salary Package their gym memberships?
Yes this can be done. For more information please view here.

Can I claim a rebate for my Gym membership from my health care fund?
ECU Sports is a recognised provider with BUPA, NRMA , nib and SGIC. Depending on your level of cover you may be able to claim a rebate. Contact BUPA or your provider for more details. The rebate is registered under the names listed below. Just choose the centre you joined at:
