How do I start?

Visit us!
At Joondalup or Mount Lawley - one of our friendly membership staff would love to discuss your needs. You will be advised on the best way to get started on a tailor made exercise program.

Call us - Joondalup 6304 5000 or Mt Lawley 9370 6700 and chat to one of our staff!

Email us!
Email us and let us know what your membership needs are and which campus facility you are interested in eg Joondalup or Mount Lawley. Make sure you include your return email address and phone number so our membership team can contact you with all the information you need.

Request an Appointment

Select the centre nearest you and a membership consultant will contact you shortly to confirm your appointment. Please allow for a minimum of 48 hours notice.

 

Upon joining ECU Sport & Fitness Centre, you will be taken on a personalised guided tour, receive a complimentary welcome pack and a fitness appraisal to get you started on your unique journey.

Our aim is to inform you of the quality of facilities and services we offer and help you make the most of your training and your fitness centre. More importantly,  it will ensure that you are working effectively towards your goals in whatever area of the fitness centre you wish to train in.

The first phase of the membership sees you through a personal appraisal (see our privacy policy) by a program that is designed to get you started and train safely.


If you are inexperienced in the gym or new to exercise, we offer you as many follow up assessments as needed with one of our fitness instructors for FREE.

How do I keep motivated?

If you wish, your fitness levels may be measured so that new targets may be set. We recommend that you have an appraisal every 8 to 12 weeks. These are all included free with your membership. The sessions can be booked at your convenience through our friendly staff at front reception.

Your fitness instructor will assess your progress and ensure that you are happy with all elements of your program. We will review your goals and make changes to your program to help keep you on track.

Personal Training: Is it for me?

Meet with one of our specially trained membership consultants and decide if Personal Training is the thing for you. In this free session, they will explain the benefits of Personal Training specifically with your needs in mind, your motivational preferences with the assistance of the latest morphing technology, showing you how you could look. Request your FREE appointment now

Motivational assessments are the secret to your success, aim for 1 every 8-12 weeks to keep you on target!
