There are card / coin operated public phone kiosks and a laundry with washers and dryers located in the village.

There are parking areas close to the units that are covered by the University Zone Red parking permit ( Parking Web Site) available from the cashier. In addition, residents wishing to park in designated Village bays must display a Village permit available form the Student Housing Office.

Recreation facilities include:

• boardgames
• sporting equipment

Residents living in the Village have the option to use the University megalabs on campus to access the internet, or if they bring their own computer they can connect to the external provider, Amnet, using the cable provided in their rooms as long as their computer has an Ethernet card installed. All bedrooms have internet access, however students must sign up with Amcom,  the external internet provider of this service. A number of different plans at different rates are available from Amcom https://villagenet.amcom.com.au/faq.asp.

There is also a TV room with VCR, DVD and Cable. The daily newspaper is provided Monday to Friday. Social functions and excursions are promoted for residents during semester.
