"As an ECU student and staff member – it’s a synergy for success"
At the beginning of my PhD, I was fortunate enough for my application for a research grant to be successful. As a result, I am now both an ECU student and employee. This dual role is hugely beneficial. My work as a social marketing research student supports my work as Project Manager for the Research Centre and vice versa. This synergy has enhanced my professional and academic learning and provided many opportunities to interact with both students and colleagues. I have no doubt that it has given me knowledge and experience that will serve me well in to the future. I would recommend ECU to anyone looking to maximize their potential by combining study and employment.
