Overview

We are offering a range of learning units open to all community members, regardless of their existing qualifications.

There is a diverse range of options available, from 'Success with Challenging Youth', through to a unit such as 'Race Car Anatomy' and foundation business units relating to Economics, Accounting, Law and Marketing.

How do ECU Community Access Units work?

You will attend lectures and tutorials throughout the entire semester alongside students who are participating in the unit as part of their recognised course.

You'll learn from experienced lecturers within a supportive learning environment with award-winning facilities. The only difference is, you won’t be assessed, so you won’t have to complete assignments or exams.

Will I receive a qualification?

Community Access Units are not assessed, meaning you won’t undertake exams or assignments during your participation within the unit.

An acknowledgement of your participation in a unit will be provided, however you will not receive a formal qualification or credit by undertaking a Community Access Unit.

Minimum requirements

Community Access students need to be 18 years or over.
