International

As an international student planning to study with us on a student visa, there are two ways you can apply to ECU:

  1. Directly to ECU by selecting a course and using our online admission system
    or
  2. Through an Agent / ECU representative in your home country.
We do not charge an application fee.

Required documentation

In addition to your completed application form, you will need to submit:

If your supporting documentation is in a language other than English, you will need to provide an official translation of each document in addition to copies of the original documents.


Important dates

We accept applications for our Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) courses all year round.

2014

  • 29 November: Closing date for applications for Semester 1 2014. Note: early closing dates for specific courses will be published in September 2014

2015

  • 9 - 20 February: Orientation for most courses (refer to the course for more information)
  • 23 February: Semester 1 starts for most courses (refer to the course for more information)
  • 22 May: Closing date for international students applying from countries with longer visa processing times to commence in Semester 2 2015 (e.g. India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Bangladesh and Vietnam)
  • 5 June: Closing date for international students applying from other countries to commence in Semester 2 2015
  • 19 June: Closing dates for international students applying from within Australia to commence in Semester 2 2015
  • 13 - 24 July: Orientation for most courses (refer to the course for more information)
  • 27 July: Semester 2 starts for most courses (refer to the course for more information)
