Honours applicants

We assess your application into our Honours courses using the following criteria:

Whether you meet minimum requirements to enter Honours and any special admission requirements for the course
Whether we have staff available to supervise your research within the relevant School (you can find researchers in your field using our Researcher & Supervisor Database).

You need to follow these steps to apply for admissions to Honours:

Contact us to confirm availability of supervision in your intended research topic
Write an outline of your proposed topic and area of research (1 page)
Get a copy of your academic transcript
Apply online using our Online Admission System, submitting your outline and transcript

28 September: Closing date for the Bachelor of Arts (Psychology) and the Bachelor of Science (Psychology) to commence in Semester 1 2013
30 September: Closing date for the Bachelor of Arts (Dance) Honours, Bachelor of Music Honours and Bachelor of Arts (Arts Management) Honours to commence in Semester 1 2013
30 November: Closing date for the Bachelor of Arts Honours, Bachelor of Communications Honours and Bachelor of Creative Industries Honours to commence in Semester 1 2013

15 February: Closing date for all other Honours courses
25 February: Semester 1 starts
