Semester 1 2013

If you are intending to apply for a course offered by the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA) , you'll need to submit your application using the Education & Arts Online Application System.

Note:

Semester 2 2012 (mid year)

The mid-year intake for WAAPA is usually limited to postgraduate music courses and the Bachelor of Arts (Performing Arts) conversion course.

Mid-year applications usually open after Easter. Check our mid-year entry page for more information on what WAAPA courses will be available to commence in July 2012 as it becomes available.

Important Dates

2012

  • 1 July: Education & Arts Online Application System opens for applications to courses commencing Semester 1 2013.
  • 16 July: Orientation week
  • 30 July: Semester 2 starts
  • 12 August: Mount Lawley & WAAPA Open Day
  • 13 August: Tertiary Institutions Service Centre (TISC) opens for applications to courses commencing Semester 1 2013
  • 24 August: Applications for the Advanced Diploma of Performing Arts (Dance), Bachelor of Arts (Dance) and Bachelor of Performing Arts (Link Dance Company stream) close
  • 30 September: Closing date for applications for WAAPA courses to commence in Semester 1 2013, except for Production & Design (Costume, Design, Lighting, Props & Scenery and Sound) and Stage Management courses
    NB - late applications may be accepted, contact us for more information.
  • 15 November: Closing date for applications to WAAPA Production & Design (Costume, Design, Lighting, Props & Scenery and Sound) and Stage Management courses

2013

  • 18 February: Orientation week
  • 25 February: Semester 1 starts
  • ~Mid April: Applications to courses commencing Semester 2 2013 will open, check our mid-year entry page for more information
  • 22 July: Orientation week
  • 29 July: Semester 2 starts
