Applying

As an international student planning to study with us on a student visa, you can apply:

  • Directly to ECU: select a course and apply using our online admission system
    Or

  • Through an Agent / ECU representative in your home country
We do not charge an application fee.

Semester 1 application closing date

Applications to commence a course in Semester 1 (February) generally need to be submitted to us by the 30 November of the year prior.

However, late applications will still be considered.

Semester 2 application closing date

Applications to commence a course in Semester 2 (July) generally need to be submitted to us by the 31 May of that year.

However, late applications will still be considered.

Required documentation

In addition to your completed Application Form, you will need to submit:

  • Documents demonstrating you meet the required English Language proficiency
  • Copies of previous academic results

If your supporting documentation is in a language other than English, you will need to provide an official translation of each document in addition to the copies of the original documents.

Higher degree by research applicants

If you are a higher degree by research student please apply direct to University Admissions

In order to apply for a research course, we need you to provide the following documents with your application:

  1. A brief outline of the research topic you wish to undertake (1-2 pages length),
  2. Copies of qualifications (including transcripts), and
  3. Copies of any published papers or journals (if available)

The Graduate Research School provides application and information packages for Master by Research and Doctoral Courses.
