Entry pathways
If you intend to apply to ECU as a international student there are several pathways you can use to gain admission.
English centres
Students who meet the academic requirements for admission into one of our courses but who do not meet the English competency requirements, may be able to study a course at the International English Centre to enable them to meet English Language requirements.
Undergraduate entry

- Foundation programs
- Certificate, diploma & advanced diploma qualifications
- Previous tertiary qualifications
Explore your options
If you are not eligible for direct entry to one or our undergraduate courses, you may be eligible for entry via one of our University preparation courses.
Postgraduate entry
If you don't meet the requirements for direct entry into one of our postgraudate courses, you may be able to use a Postgraduate Qualifying Program (PQP) as an entry pathway.
Advanced standing
If you are applying for one of our courses and have completed previous study at an equivalent level, you may be eligible for advanced standing.
