Entry pathways

Edith Cowan University welcomes students wishing to study in Australia who are not Australian citizens or permanent residents.

We’re one of the youngest and more vibrant Australian universities, and we’re home to more than 3,500 international students.

If you intend to apply to ECU as an international student there are several pathways you can use to gain admission.

English Centres

If you meet the academic requirements for admission into one of our courses, but do not meet the English competency requirements, you may be able to study a course at a Western Australian English Centre.

Undergraduate entry

Choose a suitable option from the following:

Advanced standing

If you are applying for one of our courses and you've completed other study at an equivalent level, you may be eligible for what's called advanced standing.
