Special English language requirements

There are special English language requirements for several of our discipline areas.

These can change dependent on the course level (i.e. undergraduate, postgraduate and etc).

Undergraduate special English language entry requirements
Teacher Education	An IELTS score of 7.0 (no individual band less than 6.5) or a TOEFL score of 627 (paper based) or 263 (computer based).
Nursing, Paramedicine and Midwifery	Bachelor of Science (Nursing) - three year program K45 An IELTS score of 6.5 with no individual band less than 6.5
Nursing, Paramedicine and Midwifery	Bachelor of Science (Nursing) - one year degree conversion program K46 An IELTS score of 7.0 with a minimum of 6.5 for Listening and Reading and 7.0 for Speaking and Writing.
Exercise, Sport and Health Sciences	Bachelor of Science (Occupational Therapy) H96 An IELTS score of 7.5 (no individual band less than 7.0) or a TOEFL score of 650 (paper based) or 280 (computer based).

Postgraduate special English language entry requirements
Teacher Education	Graduate Diploma of Education programs An IELTS score of 7.5 with no band less than 7.0 or TOEFL score of 650 (paper based) or 280 (computer based)
Teacher Education	All other postgraduate Education programs An IELTS score of 7.0 with no band less than 6.5 or TOEFL score of 600 (paper based) or 250 (computer based).
Exercise, Sport and Health Sciences	Master of Occupational Therapy Practice I06 An IELTS score of 7.5 (no individual band less than 7.0) or a TOEFL socre of 650 (paper based) or 280 (computer based).
Psychology & Social Sciences	All Postgraduate Psychology programs An IELTS score of 7.0 with no band less than 6.5 or TOEFL score of 627 (paper based) or 263 (computer based).
