Bridging programs

We offer several bridging programs to assist you in refreshing your knowledge in a specific high school subject area, such as Chemistry, Physics or Maths.

These programs will be of value if you require an understanding of the basics and either:

  • Have not studied the equivalent level subject/topics while at high school, or
  • Have previously studied the equivalent level subject/topics while at high school, but wish to brush up on the basics prior to starting your course with us
If an undergraduate course assumes students have a working knowledge of a particular subject area then, as an applicant to the course who does not have recent or appropriate secondary subject knowledge in the area, you may be advised to complete the relevant bridging program prior to commencing your undergraduate studies with us.

Bridging programs available include:

  • Foundation Science: ideal for science or nursing students who have not studied upper secondary Chemistry or Physics.
  • Mathematics Bridging Program: ideal for anyone who studied WACE MAT3C/3D, who requires an understanding of topics covered in MAS 3A/3B/3C/3D in preparation to studying MAT1236
