We offer a wide range of courses which are available for study online.
If you are not planning to study on an international student visa, you could consider applying to courses offered for study online. Studying a course online will enable you to study the course without ever having to come to Australia.
This is an option for students, who for reasons such as distance, domestic responsibilities, work commitments or disability would prefer not to relocate to study.
If you study online, your ECU student email account will be used for most correspondence to you, for example any exam information, or unit updates from coordinators and tutors.
If you live relatively close to an ECU campus, you’ll be able to access campus facilities and learning support services. If not, some support services can still be accessed online.
You can purchase textbooks from a Co-Op Shop on one of our campuses, or by ordering them online.
Resources are available to off-campus students via the ECU Library.
You can conduct research online through the library databases and online catalogue and they’ll provide you with copies of journal articles and books if you live a long way from an ECU campus.
Most online units will require you to attend a final examination. You can register your attendance at one of our examination centre locations using Student Information Management Online (SIMO).
SIMO is also used to enrol for your study units.
