All Registered Nurses who possess a Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent may enrol in the Master of Clinical Nursing program.
Registered Nurses with a hospital based Diploma, working in the specialty will be considered at the discretion of the course coordinator.
The course requires that students are employed for a minimum of 18 hours per week in an approved specialty area of their choice.
Students who have less than 12 months relevant specialty experience will be considered at the discretion of the course coordinator.
A letter of support is required from the prospective student's employer.
Each student must provide a letter from a more experienced colleague (usually a Staff Development Nurse or Clinical Nurse) from their workplace expressing willingness to act as the student's clinical supervisor for the duration of the course.
