We provide scholarships and awards to students enrolled in an Honours program or Master by coursework.
Scholarships generally have selection criteria, which must be met, and can provide financial support to assist you with education and living expenses.
At ECU, we are committed to undertaking high quality research and offer a number of scholarships to students undertaking a Doctoral or Master by research degree.
An undergraduate degree in computer science, information technology, computer engineering or related area with 2A Honours or equivalent; or relevant professional or coursework Masters degree with substantial research component, or relevant research Masters degree.
A graduate with no Honours or Master degrees, who can document a sufficient research ability for doctoral studies, combined with several years of industry experience and exceptional contribution to the profession, may be admitted into the course.
To be admitted into the course, an applicant must demonstrate an ability:
- to complete the coursework component;
- to prepare a research thesis which represents a significant contribution to the profession
