First year indicative tuition fees for 2014 undergraduate courses (international students)

International: AUD $26,400.00

You are an International Full Fee Paying student if you do not hold Australian or New Zealand citizenship, Australian permanent resident status or a Permanent Humanitarian Visa.

You may have a choice in the units you enrol in and this may change the cost. Tuition fees also change each year and you will be charged the unit price for the current year in which you are enrolled in the unit.

Bachelor of Science (Psychology)

This course structure contains information about the units which comprise the course as well as the credit points required to successfully complete it.

Psychology is available by full-time or part-time study. Generally, units should be completed in year sequence (i.e., all first year units should be completed before proceeding to second year units, and all second year units should be completed before proceeding to third year units). Prerequisites must be adhered to and each of the research units must be taken in the exact sequence (i.e. PSY1102, PSY2202, PSY3303). Over the course of the degree students may not undertake more than 150 credit points at the first year level. Students must complete a minor OR a supporting major plus electives from a Science field.

*PSY1101 Introduction to Psychology must be successfully completed before undertaking any subsequent units in psychology, however, this unit can be taken in conjunction with PSY1102 Research Methods in Psychology 1. ** Students in Year 3 Semester 1 may take PSY3216 Group Process and Group Management and/or PSY3211 Cultural Issues in Psychology as Electives. Students in Year 3 Semester 2 may take PSY3306 Psychology, Community and Work and/or PSY3246 Systems Consultation as Electives.

MINOR
Students are required to choose a Minor from a science field, for example, in human biology, human movement, environmental management, or computer science.
