Here is some general tuition fee information for international students.

You are an International Full Fee Paying student if you do not hold Australian or New Zealand citizenship, Australian permanent resident status or a Permanent Humanitarian Visa.

You may have a choice in the units you enrol in and this may change the cost. Tuition fees also change each year and you will be charged the unit price for the current year in which you are enrolled in the unit.

Bachelor of Science (Aviation)

This course structure contains information about the units which comprise the course as well as the credit points required to successfully complete it.

The Bachelor of Science (Aviation) consists of 360 credit points (24 units) and is divided into the following two areas taken over three years of full-time, or part-time equivalent, study:

  • Aviation core units (18 units, 270 cpts)
  • Minor and/or Electives (6 unit minor, 5 unit minor + 1 elective, 4 unit minor + 2 electives, or 6 electives; 90 cpts)

Elective Units
It is recommended that the six minor or elective units be selected from the following areas of study, units taken from outside these areas must be approved by the course coordinator. At least four units must be from the same study area and at least three of the units must be at second year level or higher. Business Engineering Computing Languages Mathematics Physics Security Science NOTES: (1) The positions of the Minor or Elective Units in the program of study can vary to match availability, timetabling and any prerequisite requirements.
