Honours applicants
We assess your application into our Honours courses using the following criteria:
- Whether you meet minimum requirements to enter Honours and any special admission requirements for the course
- Whether we have staff available to supervise your research within the relevant School (you can find researchers in your field using our Researcher & Supervisor Database).
Step by step guide to applying for Honours
You need to follow these steps to apply for admissions to Honours:
- Contact us to confirm availability of supervision in your intended research topic
- Write an outline of your proposed topic and area of research (1 page)
- Get a copy of your academic transcript
- Apply online using our Online Admission System, submitting your outline and transcript
Important Dates
2013
- 25 February: Semester 1 starts
- ~Mid April: Applications to courses commencing Semester 2 2013 will open, check our mid-year entry page for more information
- 15 - 26 July: Orientation
- 19 July: Applications for the Bachelor of Arts Honours, Bachelor of Creative Industries Honours and Bachelor of Arts (Dance) Honours close
