Entry pathways

If you intend to apply to one of our undergraduate courses as a non school leaver there are several pathways you can use to gain admission:

Explore your options

If you are not eligible for direct entry to one or our undergraduate courses, you may be eligible for entry via one or our University preparation / University orientation courses:

Professional experience counts

You don't necessarily need a degree to apply for a postgraduate course, at ECU your real-life, industry experience can count!

If you have a minimum of five years relevant professional experience, then you may be eligible for entry into one of our Graduate Certificate programs. More information.

We recognise your previous learning and experience

If you are applying for an undergraduate course and have completed previous Tertiary study; or you've completed a Diploma or above at a Registered Training Organisation; or you have significant equivalent professional experience or professional qualifications; you may be eligible for advanced standing within your course.


Important Dates

2013

  • 25 February: Semester 1 starts
  • ~Mid April: Applications to courses commencing Semester 2 2013 will open, check our mid-year entry page for more information
  • 15 - 26 July: Orientation
  • 22 July: Closing date for portfolio application documentation to be submitted
  • 24 July: Applications for the University Preparation Course (Education Assistant) and University Preparation Course (Education Assistant: Special Needs) close
  • 28 July: Joondalup Open Day
  • 29 July: Semester 2 starts
  • 11 August: Mount Lawley & WAAPA Open Day
