There are minimum admission requirements to enter ECU.
You must meet these in addition to meeting any special admission requirements for the course you intend to apply for. Search for courses to see any special admission requirements.
Undergraduate courses
How you meet the minimum requirements to enter our Associate Degrees, Bachelors, University Preparation Courses and Double Degrees can depend on the specific entry pathway used.
ECU's minimum admission requirements for undergraduate courses include:
- Indicative ATAR (TER)
- English competency
- Satisfying portfolio and interview requirements if you are applying for one of our courses by portfolio entry
University Preparation Course (UPC) requirements
There are minimum requirements for non school leavers (mature age applicants) seeking entry to our University Preparation Courses. These include specific UPC English competency requirements.
University certificates
Minimum admission requirements for university certificates include English competency and, either
- Year 12 completion or equivalent; or
- At least 2 years relevant professional experience; or
- At least 20 years of age in the year the course commences (i.e. mature age)
