Master of Science (Sports Science)

This course structure contains information about the units which comprise the course as well as the credit points required to successfully complete it.

The Master of Science (Sports Science) program comprises two years of full-time study or the equivalent part-time study. Three units of study are undertaken in Stage 1. Stage 2 is devoted to the development of a research thesis under the guidance of a supervisor.



Stage 1
Students may undertake a course of study in one of three specialisations: Exercise Physiology; Sports Psychology or Biomechanics

Stage 2
The thesis component of this course is entirely research based and equivalent to 1.5 years of full-time study. Each semester students nominate if they wish to enrol into research thesis unit: SPS6200 as part-time or full-time enrolment. Students are required to continue re-enrolling in the thesis component of their study until the thesis is submitted for examination.
