* Students who have not passed WACE Physics 3A/3B (or equivalent) must complete the bridging unit SCP1132 Introduction to Physics before they can enrol in ENS1101 Engineering Mechanics.

Years 3 and 4 of this course are provided by the University of Tasmania (Australian Maritime College) in Launceston, Tasmania. For details of the following units please consult the AMC handbook which can be found online at: http://courses.utas.edu.au.
^ Students wishing to undertake the Marine Systems specialisation at AMC should select ENS2103, those wishing to undertake the Offshore Systems specialisation should select ENS2180.

Elective Units
To complete the BEng(Marine and Offshore Systems) students are required to choose a specialisation in Marine Systems or Offshore Systems. Each specialisation requires 5 units to be chosen from the following list in consultation with the Course Coordinator. The elective units available may depend on the specialisation chosen.
To complete the BEng(Marine and Offshore. Systems) students must also complete a period of 12 weeks of approved work experience as a practicum before graduating.

Bachelor of Engineering (Marine and Offshore Systems)
This course structure contains information about the units which comprise the course as well as the credit points required to successfully complete it.
This course is offered in collaboration with the Australian Maritime College at the University of Tasmania in Launceston, Tasmania. Students will need to relocate to Launceston for the second two years of the course.
In general, all units in the first two years of the course must be completed successfully before transfer to AMC can be approved.
