Admission requirements
Minimum admission requirements apply to enter this course.
Special admission requirements
a) Prospective students must provide a certified copy of their current nursing registration. Although a relevant Bachelor degree is generally required, Registered Nurses with a hospital-based qualification will be eligible for enrolment at the discretion of the course coordinator, after assessment of relevant prior education and/or experience;
b) a minimum of two years post-registration full-time nursing experience;
c) a certified copy of the prospective student's proof of identity containing a photograph is required (for example a passport or driver's license).
Students are required to provide:
a) the names of two referees; and
b) a copy of the prospective student's current curriculum vitae demonstrating a minimum of two years full-time clinical professional nursing experience; and
c) overseas applicants must provide evidence of proficiency in the English language (e.g., IELTS 6.5, TOEFL 550).
The course coordinator maintains the right to approve all evidence for admission.
