Admission requirements
Applicants must be eligible for registration as a midwife with the Nurses & Midwives Board of Western Australia and have 12 months post-registration midwifery clinical experience.
Applicants who have a hospital-based midwifery qualification may be eligible for admission on the basis of recognised prior learning. Prior to admission and throughout the course, students must have concurrent employment in midwifery for a minimum of 16 hours per week.
