Area of Specialisation In Media and Cultural Studies
Examines the ways in which the media are organised, the social position and power they have and the ways they communicate to audiences.
Introduces students to a significant range of contemporary theoretical and critical approaches used to analyse media texts, media technologies and their position in the world today.
Students develop critical thinking, effective communication skills and how to research and write a project.

The Master of Communications (Media Studies) allows students to examine the ways in which the Media are organised, the social position and power they have and the ways they communicate to audiences.
