Professional Recognition
Graduates of this specialised stream are eligible for Associate (professional) membership of the Australian Library and Information Association.

This unitset structure contains information about the units which comprise the course as well as the credit points required to successfully complete it.

SPECIAL ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

The minimum admission requirement is a bachelor degree in a discipline other than library and information science.

Students must complete six core units and may select two elective units, after consultation with, and obtaining the approval of the course coordinator. Students are also required to complete a one semester research project, in an approved topic area.

Subject to any additional requirements, students are eligible for Associate (professional) membership of the Australian Library and Information Association if they choose to graduate with a Graduate Diploma of Science (Information Services) in this area of specialisation.
