SPECIAL ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
The minimum admission requirement for this area of specialisation is a three-year Bachelor of Arts (Education) or equivalent teaching qualification. In addition, all entrants must provide evidence of at least twelve months’ satisfactory full-time school teaching experience or the equivalent part-time experience.
Students are eligible for Associate (professional) membership of the Australian Library and Information Association if they choose to graduate with a Graduate Diploma of Science (Information Services) in this area of specialisation.
Students who have successfully completed the Graduate Certificate of Information Services (Teacher Librarianship) may apply for admission and advanced standing in this area of specialisation.
