Bachelor of Science

Major In Mathematics

Introduces students to relevant areas of mathematics and statistics. Students also combine their mathematics and statistics study with units in related areas such as computing and signal processsing. This major has an industry and employment orientation.

Major structure

This unitset structure contains information about the units which comprise the course as well as the credit points required to successfully complete it.

Eight units (120 credit points) selected from the following, at least three Level 3 units must be chosen.

Prerequisite: Satisfactory performance in WACE Mathematics 3C/3D or Mathematics: Specialist 3C/3D, or equivalent. Students will complete 120 credit points (eight units) selected from the following, with at least three units at Level 3.
