Provides students with an introduction to the occupational safety and health profession and equips them with the knowledge and skills to function effectively in the health and safety industry.

This unitset structure contains information about the units which comprise the course as well as the credit points required to successfully complete it.
The occupational safety and health major comprises 120 credit points (8 units) and is designed to provide students with an introduction to this profession and equip them with the knowledge and skills to function effectively in the health and safety industry.
Students who possess a Diploma or Advanced Diploma of Occupational Safety and Health from TAFE may be granted up to 60 and 90 credit points respectively of advanced standing.
