Master of Professional Accounting

Provides an opportunity for graduates whose first degree is in an area other than accounting to undertake major studies in accounting and law that will lead to the acquisition of accounting skills and knowledge and the fulfillment of the entry requirements of the accounting professional bodies.

Students may be able to fast-track the course and complete it in 1.5 years.

Professional Recognition
The course has been accredited by CPA Australia, the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia and the Institute of Public Accountants as meeting the educational requirements for membership and/or entry to their professionals programmes.

Further studies

Students who do not have a recognised undergraduate degree but have a qualification recognised as equivalent to an Australian Advanced Diploma are advised to apply for the Master of Professional Accounting (Extended) course.

Students who are required to complete eight or less than eight units for accounting professional body recognition may apply for either the Graduate Diploma of Business (Professional Accounting) course or the Graduate Certificate of Business (Professional Accounting) course as appropriate for their requirements.
