Bachelor of Aviation
Provides focused professional education and graduate status for those seeking to enter the aviation industry. It is a technically-oriented aviation program covering the knowledge requirements of the Commercial Pilot License of the Australian Civil Aviation Authority. Students will develop the required attributes of a professional pilot.
Although the course caters primarily for future airline pilots, it also prepares graduates for a range of other careers within the aviation industry, such as airline operations and aviation management.

Both the Bachelor of Aviation and Graduate Diploma in Flying can be completed over 9 semesters of study (including summer semesters).
Pilot, Flight Planner, Aviation Operations Controller, Load Controller, CASA Regulator, Fixed Based Operations Officer
Students interested in pursuing a career as a commercial airline pilot can elect to study the Graduate Diploma in Flying concurrently with this course.
Applicants who do not meet the mathematics pre-requisite for this course should consider applying for the Bachelor of Science (Aviation) as a pathway. Students can complete a bridging mathematics unit within the Bachelor of Science (Aviation) and gain eligibility to apply for the Bachelor of Aviation with advanced standing.
This course is available for on-campus study by students with an International student visa.
