Bachelor of Criminology and Justice
This course structure contains information about the units which comprise the course as well as the credit points required to successfully complete it.
The Bachelor of Criminology and Justice requires a minimum of 360 credit points (24 units) and normally requires three years of full time study or the part time equivalent.
The degree has the following components:
- Core program of 270 credit points (18 units); and
- 90 credit point (6 unit) minor program (see approved list below): or
- 60 credit point (4 unit) minor program and 2 elective units: or
- 90 credit points of elective units (6 units).
Approved 90 credit point (6 unit) minor programs:
- MIAADT -Addiction Studies
- MIAADM -Psychology
- MIYOU -Youth Work
- MISEC -Security
- MIAAEA -Counter Terrorism and Intelligence
or any other 6 unit minor as approved by the Course Coordinator.
Approved 60 credit point (4 unit) minor programs:

- MIAAAG Human Resource Management
- MIAAFS - Counter Terrorism
