Bachelor of Science

This course structure contains information about the units which comprise the course as well as the credit points required to successfully complete it.

The Bachelor of Science award consists of 360 credit points (24 units) comprising:

Four (4) core Science and Maths units

plus

two (2) eight unit science majors chosen from the list below (a total of 16 units)

plus

an approved combination of four (4) units from within the Faculty or anywhere in the University;

or

any combination of units as approved by the Executive Dean of the Faculty.

Restrictions on the selection of units are as follows:

  • a maximum of 180 credit points at 1000 level;
  • at least four 3000 level units must be completed.

Students planning on following this course with Honours or Masters should speak with their Course Coordinator to ensure they complete sufficient units in their chosen discipline.
