Bachelor of Aviation
Provides a focussed professional education and graduate status for those entering the aviation industry, especially as pilots. Includes essential elements required for pilot training up to the level of Air Transport Pilot Licence.
The course extends beyond licensing requirements and traditional pilot training to prepare graduates for a range of careers within the aviation industry.
Graduates who have completed all the flight training units will hold a Commercial Pilot Licence together with a Command Instrument Rating in a twin-engine or turbine-powered aircraft, and a Flight Instructor Rating.
Admission requirements
In addition to minimum requirements, the following is required:
Satisfactory performance in a TEE mathematics unit or equivalent.
Special admission requirements
Entry to the Bachelor of Aviation is available to applicants who hold ICAO Commercial or Air Transport Pilot Licences or who are pilots in the military. Such applicants may receive advanced standing for a number of units in the course.
