Master of Nutrition and Dietetics
The Master of Nutrition and Dietetics is a pathway to the profession of dietetics.
The course spans community and clinical practice components, with some components occurring outside normal university semesters.
Within the learning activities of the course, a focus is placed upon the community practice of dietetics and its role in community health.
The course enables students to specialise in an area of interest: Aboriginal Health, Addiction Studies, Business Management, Counselling, Complementary and Alternative Medicines, Exercise Science, Mental Health or Palliative Care.
This course is Commonwealth Government Supported for eligible students.
Additional Course Information
Pending accreditation of the course, graduates will be eligible for full membership of the Dietetics Association of Australia (DAA) and will have the opportunity to apply for Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD) status.
Before undertaking any clinical placement, a student is required to have Communicable Diseases, Criminal Record and Working with Children clearances.
