ATAR students
If your son/daughter is studying four courses at WACE Course Stage 2 or above, they are considered an ATAR student.
As an ATAR student, they must meet:
- Course minimum ATAR
- Satisfactory performance in four courses at WACE Course Stage 2 or above
- English competency
- The requirements of the Western Australian Certificate of Education (WACE)
- Any prerequisites for the course they want to apply for
Their ATAR meets requirements
They may be offered a place in the course.
Their ATAR does not meet requirements
If their ATAR does not meet course ATAR requirements, encourage them to submit a portfolio entry for the course.
- If successful, they may be offered a place in the course.
- If their portfolio entry is not successful, they may be offered a place in one of our University Preparation courses, which they can use as a stepping stone into one of our courses.
