Entry pathways

There are several entry pathways you can use to enter our postgraduate courses.

Graduate certificate

Graduate diploma

  • Bachelors degree, or
  • Graduate certificate in a relevant area of study, or
  • Equivalent prior learning - this can be professional experience

Masters by coursework

  • Bachelors degree, or
  • Graduate diploma in a relevant area of study, or
  • Equivalent prior learning - this can be professional experience

Masters by research

  • Bachelors degree displaying an above average performance and potential to undertake research, or
  • Bachelors degree with honours, in which case you will be admitted to stage 2 of the masters, or

Professional doctorate

  • Masters in a relevant area of study

Doctor of Philosophy

  • Masters by research in a relevant area of study, or
  • Masters by coursework in a relevant area of study which includes a substantial research component, or
  • Bachelors degree with first class honours in a relevant area of study, or
  • Bachelors degree with second class honours, Division A

Note - Some postgraduate courses may have special admission requirements which you must meet in addition to satisfying one of the pathways listed above.
