Master of Engineering

Admission requirements

Applicants to this degree must have already completed a Bachelor degree, or equivalent, in engineering, or engineering technology, ECU's Bachelor of Engineering Science, or ECU's Graduate Diploma in Engineering Science.

Special admission requirements

Applicants must provide proof of their previous university studies and the successful completion of a first degree, or equivalent. This must include full details of all units completed.

Depending on the chosen specialisation for the Masters degree, the required prerequisites will vary. In cases where an applicant is deemed to not meet all of the required pre-requisites, the applicant will be required to complete the one-year Graduate Diploma in Engineering Science course as a way of meeting the prerequisite requirements prior to entering the Masters course.

Where a student has already completed postgraduate studies at a level equivalent to or higher than that required in this course, advanced standing may be granted.
