Graduate Diploma of Palliative Care
Palliative care is an approach that improves the quality of life of patients facing life-threatening illness and their significant others. This is achieved through the consideration of the whole person including physical, psychosocial and spiritual dimensions of care and attention to the prevention and relief of suffering.
Further studies
Articulates with the Master of Palliative Care. Students who successfully complete the Graduate Diploma course and who wish to pursue further studies in this area can consider applying for the Masters level course. Students who successfully complete of Stage 1 of the Graduate Diploma can elect to exit with a Graduate Certificate of Palliative Care.
