Entry pathways
As a school leaver, there are several pathways you can use to gain admission into ECU:
Four or more TEE subjects
If you studied 4 or more TEE subjects, you would have received a ATAR (TER) [Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (Tertiary Entrance Rank)].
If you have achieved our minimum requirements, plus any special admission requirements or prerequisites for the course you're interested in, you may be able to use your ATAR (TER) as an entry pathway to the course.
A combination of TEE and Wholly School Assessed (WSA) subjects or only year 12 WSA subjects
You may be eligible to enter ECU by one of our alternative entry pathways or via a university preparation course:
- Portfolio entry
-
University preparation courses
- University Preparation Course (UPC)
- University Preparation Course (Education Assistant)
- University Preparation Course (UPC)
- Indigenous University Orientation Course (IUOC)
A specialised entry pathway for Australian Indigenous peoples
Interstate school leavers
If you are an interstate school leaver, recently arrived in Western Australia, who has completed recognised tertiary entrance exams, you should apply through the Tertiary Institutions Service Centre (TISC).
