"Criminology and Justice is giving me a chance to make a difference."

"I chose to study Criminology and Justice because I wanted to make a difference in the field. The course has provided me with a chance to challenge my own opinions, meet influential people in the criminal justice system, as well as the opportunity to talk and listen to people like John Button and Andrew Mallard. There’s always a strong emphasis on professional involvement.

The lecturers always relate academic subject topics to every day justice situations, making learning easy and pertinent to our potential careers. They also encourage you to engage in the industry. I was lucky enough to be invited to participate in a conference at the Institute of Criminology in Canberra this year."
