"The initial appeal of ECU was their Portfolio entry pathway. To be accepted into uni based on my achievements, report cards and work experience was very significant. Then I discovered ECU’s huge variety of courses and units and realised they offered something to interest everyone. The classes had a great atmosphere too. It was wonderful to be surrounded by like-minded people who were as passionate about sport as I was. I thrived on the in-class debates. My greatest challenge, which has since proved to be a vital necessity to my career, was public speaking. But with experience, and the support from lecturers, it got easier each time."
